About
Alex Otsubo
I build AI systems that run inside real businesses — and I measure what they do. I am one person with my own infrastructure, and that is a choice.
How I work
Four rules that show up in every case.
Measure before proposing
Even when the measurement kills the proposal. It has happened more than once; the client received the "not worth it" as the deliverable.
Restore point before production
Tag verified by diff, not by name. Migration before code. Rollback tested.
No number without a source
If it was not measured, the site shows "--". That rule applies to clients and to me.
Own infrastructure, fixed cost
Everything I deliver runs on Cloudflare with a US$ 5/month ceiling enforced in code, backups in two destinations and a tested recovery kit.
What I do well
Gemini, Claude, Whisper; triage, caching, model benchmarks, cost per unit.
Store, ERP, CRM, WhatsApp, Google APIs. Queues, idempotency, sweeps.
Workers, Pages, R2, KV, D1, Tunnel. Ten domains in production.
Voice agents, voice galleries, consistent image generation at scale.
Claude Code, skills, subagents, quota-based dispatch, adversarial verification.
Benchmarks, measurement, a one-page document that decides a purchase or an architecture.
